Requesting Transcripts from the
Compton Community College District
For coursework completed prior to Fall 2006
Three options are now available for students requesting official transcripts for coursework completed at the former Compton Community College, prior to Fall 2006: by mail, in-person, and we now offer an online transcript request service.
Online Transcript Requests
Official transcripts of work completed at the former Compton Community College may now be requested and tracked online. To place an online transcript order, please follow the directions below.
The Compton Community College District has partnered with Parchment to provide a secure, convenient way to electronically process transcript requests. Once an order is placed online, Parchment will process the request on behalf of the Compton Community College District and the transcripts will be sent electronically on the next business day to colleges, universities, or any other destination.
The fee for an online transcript request is $8 per transcript.
Official transcripts will be sent in the receiver's preferred format and Parchment will confirm sending and delivery, when possible. Users will also have the option of creating and logging into a personal account to track the delivery of their transcripts in real time.
Create an account in three easy steps to request transcripts online:
1. Create your account (initial visit only) with a valid email address; complete your profile and choose a password.
2. Complete your registration through the confirmation email sent by Parchment.
3. You're done!
Once a Parchment account is created, all you will need to do is:
1. Sign into your Parchment account.
2. Select destinations to receive your transcripts.
3. Sign user agreement and pay online.

Mail and In-person Transcript Requests
The first two transcripts in a lifetime are complimentary. To receive a free transcript, the student must request in-person or via mail. Additional transcripts cost $5 per copy.
If ordering transcripts by mail or in-person for coursework completed prior to Fall 2006, fill out the Transcript Request Form and either mail it to the address below or drop it off in-person at the Records Office. The completed form will include the following information:
- Name (first and last) under which you attended the former Compton Community College
- Birth date
- Social Security Number (Student Number)
- Approximate dates of attendance
- Address to where the transcripts are to be sent
- A check payable to Compton Community College District for $5 per transcript, if you have already used your two free transcript requests.
Transcripts are processed by the Records Office between five and ten working days after the request is received, and will be available for pick-up at the Admissions Office. Requests to mail transcripts require additional days.

Transcripts may be picked up at the Admissions and Records office at ECC Compton Center located at 1111 E. Artesia Blvd, Compton CA 90221. Students must show a photo ID when picking up transcripts. Transcripts are only held for thirty days. If a student asks someone else to pick up their transcript, a Release of Information Form must be on file or submitted at the time of pickup.
